I just got back from my Spring Break vacation in Vegas visiting my parents and friends. It never ceases to amaze me how different things are every time I come back, yet everything feels the same. I love it.
I started my vacation by listing my never-ending bucket list to fill up my 5 day trip. The list went something like this:
- Watch the Ellen show
- Nap on the couch
- Find a green dress for Amy's wedding
- Eat good food
I know. I'm very picky and hard to please. I also know that you will all be shocked to hear that I crossed everything off of this list. Fantastico! I even submitted an awful professional picture of me from 4th grade to a contest for Ellen. Who knows - maybe I'll win and go on the show?!
Can I just say that I had a fantastic trip? It was relaxing. I never got up before 8 am I ate fantastic German Spaghetti (which will be featured at a later date. Get ready blog world). I went shopping. I napped. I went to the movies - twice! I highly recommend the Hunger Games (obviously, so does just about every other girl in the USA) and Mirror Mirror. Loved them both!
He is Prince Alcott aka. Prince Charming. Need I say more?
My sister was in Massachusetts because her break was a few weeks ago. That was sad.
I spent time with Melanie and Danielle. I have known both of them for YEARS now and would consider them to be two of my closest friends. Melanie even renamed a recipe for me, and I have deemed her my new recipe namer. Asian noodle salad will now be known as All of Asia Salad due to its immense size - much like the size of Asia. Mel - you rock!
The one thing I will NOT miss about this trip was the redonkulous wind. I almost couldn't open my car door today because the wind was blowing so strongly in the opposite direction.
This captures it quite well. Warning: I did not take this picture.
Can it be Spring Break all year?
